BASKETBALL PROGRAM Founded in 2003, All for One is an elite AAU Boston area boys basketball team that is dedicated to providing an environment for boys who want to excel in education as well as play basketball. The coaches are experienced, technically sound, and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude. Parents and families are actively involved in all aspects of the club activities. The Board of Directors provides volunteer direction, administration, and leadership. ACADEMIC PRGOGRAM Under the direction of Coach and Education Director Ed Powell and Darrel Powell of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, All for One Athletes meet for voluntary study hall twice a week. Athletes having academic difficulty are mandated to attend. Many of our players are honor roll students, and the team as a whole has a B average. Tutors from Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, Boston Public Schools and Brockton Public Schools regularly participate in study hall and are available for one on one assistance. Our motto is: Everyone can't be in the NBA, but everyone can get an MBA! |
